Dumping some information I dug up on Clearview AI. Technologies like this will undoubtedly be used to implement a Chinese-Communist-style social credit system in the West, but I haven’t seen anybody on the dissident right talking about how many links this creepy company has to the dissident right (I wonder why?).

Clearview AI (formerly known as Smartcheckr) facial recognition software is now being used by the US military:

As of 2020, Clearview claimed to work with over 600 law enforcement agencies:

…including the FBI and Interpol:

And they’re also working on technology like glasses with inbuilt facial recognition, which they’re selling to the US Air Force:

Most recently, Ukrainians have been using Clearview to scan the faces of dead Russians and send photos of their corpses back home to Russia (“more than 340 officials across five Ukrainian government agencies now can use its tool to run facial recognition searches whenever they want, free of charge”):

Clearview AI was founded by Hoan Ton-That and Richard Schwartz, who met at the Manhattan Institute. Schwartz is a Columbia University alumnus and was former aid to Rudy Guliani, Trump’s personal attorney. Ton-That is a hacker who comes from the royal Vietnamese dynastic Nguyen family.

The Manhattan Institute was founded by William Casey, director of the CIA, and Antony Fisher, founder of free-market think tanks, such as the Atlas Network and Institute of Economic Affairs (“the UK’s most influential thinktank”). Fisher was also linked to the Fabian Society’s London School of Economics.

Clearview AI is funded by Peter Thiel, who was the first outside investor in Facebook and co-founder of PayPal. He also co-founded Palantir, an AI corporation that is used by US intelligence agencies and the DoD. According to General Mattis “[Palantir] came up with ground breaking technologies that help us make better decisions in combat zones. You are giving us advantages right now that we need.” [Source: Palantir website].

Edit: Palantir was founded with investment from the CIA’s venture capital firm, In-Q-Tel, whose senior partner sits on the board of Metabiota, a company that was central to the entire scamdemic operation, from engineering COVID in a lab with the CCP to advising UN WHO policy (see this article here).

Thiel also funded the cryptocurrency startup of Moldbug / Curtis Yarvin, “Tlon”: “In 2017, Peter gave a talented young founder $200,000, which two years later converted to equity in Clearview AI”
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/18/technology/clearview-privacy-facial-recognition.html

According to Time magazine, Clearview was also secretly cofounded by “far-right” figure Chuck Johnson, an associate of Moldbug, who also started a bunch of crowd-funding websites to collect money for people like Richard Spencer and Tommy Robinson.

Another Clearview guy and Thiel associate, Jeff Giesea, advised people to fund Alt-Right organizations using PayPal in 2016:

PayPal (again, co-founded by Thiel) is now officially partnered with the ADL, and is using private user transaction data to map “hate networks” and identify wrongthinkers: “The intelligence gathered through this research initiative will be shared broadly across the financial industry and with policymakers and law enforcement.”

According to “ex-white supremacist” Katie McHugh — who was conveniently in the right place at the right time to witness and report on many Alt-Right shenanigans — Johnson stated that Clearview’s purpose was to “identify every illegal alien in the country.”
https://gizmodo.com/creepy-face-recognition-firm-clearview-ai-sure-has-a-lo-1842740604

“He told me they had a way to identify every illegal alien in the country […] He brought up facial recognition technology and demanded I call Stephen Miller because he knew Stephen Miller was a true believer.” – McHugh

Various “racists” and “anti-semites” have worked for Clearview. For example, Ricky Vaughn aka Douglass Mackey was a contract consultant for Clearview. He advertised the tool to Paul Nehlen who, supposedly, planned to use the it for “opposition research.” Clearview reportedly fired Ricky after he was doxed by Nehlen due to a disagreement over Clearview (Nehlen claimed Vaughn did not provide the services promised).

Also, Clearview’s lawyer, Tor Ekeland, represented Weev. So, that’s yet another odd connection:

That’s everything I’ve found so far. If you have any more leads, post them in the comment section.

I think this is all weird as hell, especially with the amount of people on Right-Wing Twitter who suddenly started shilling Moldbug en masse in 2020/2021, while also claiming that “there is no globalist conspiracy.” See here, here, here, and here (these individuals promoted Moldbug at the time of these Tweets, no idea if they still do).
