I see this question come up time and time again. I’ve written about it before but decided to create a simple infographic containing everything you need to know.
Summary:
Ashkenazi Jews are half Middle Eastern and half European, which is exactly what their phenotypes show: A random 50/50 mix of Levantine and European facial features. Other Jews, such as Sephardim and Mizrahim, have more Middle Eastern ancestry. Jews are a distinct race of people with their own unique, non-European culture. You wouldn’t call someone who is half-Arabic a White person, so you shouldn’t call someone who is half-Canaanite a White person either.

Being half or a third ‘southern European’ doesn’t make you a European.
The Sicilians example is bad, because Southern ”Italians” have a significant impute of Neolithic levant, their “ Neolithic Anatolian ” contribution that they obtain on Global 25 is partly, if not more for some, Tepecik, but this type of Anatolian is more or less than 50% Anatolian Hunter-Gatherer (Pinarbasi) and 50% Neolithic Irano-Levantine, they dont have a good continuity with the mesolithic anatolian hunter gatherer, while other neolithic Anatolians samples from Barcin and other archeology site have more continuity (90% for the maximum).
Tepecik is often an East Mediterranean signal, moreover, proof? just compare the Etruscans (pre Imperial Rome) samples from Tuscany and modern Toscans (post Imperial Rome) : one has mostly no Tepecik, the other has.

We see a switch from the autochthonous Tuscan Etruscan cluster to the East Mediterranean populations in the Middle Ages, then subsequently the cluster is redirected a little bit towards the Etruscan cluster, because there was a little re-Europeanization of the Tuscans. after the Middle Ages and thereafter, but still a distance between this new actual Tuscan cluster (2021) and the older one Etruscan.
The Calabrian, Sicilian, Apulian, Campanian, even Abruzzo, are located even closer to the Ashkenazi cluster, which is intermediate between the Cypriots, who are themselves located between the Ashkenazi and Lebanese, and the present-day Tuscans.
If you want to compare what is comparable: you take a sample from Lombard with little or no East Mediterranean input, having a predominantly autochthonous profile (doesn’t means ”more indo euro”), and then comparing it with Ashkenazi samples and if your conclusion is that you do not see any difference in term of genetic distancing and ancestral contributions, that both are for you ” southern Europeans ”, it is that you are blind or ideologically biased, and that the actual definition of the word ”southern european” is a melting pot of weird thing and non sens at the level of genetic. You cannot even trying a simplistication with the Lombard and Ashkenazi sample, because no, they are clearly distant, one is more European that the other.
A Lombard can be modeled largely, if not totally for some, as an ancient mixture of Cisalpine and Pre-Cisalpine population but they are a classical ”southwestern european” in this sens, like Estrucans, but the other are not (ashkenazis, sicilians, etc) really.

Your claims about Americans applies perhaps in inner city demographics, but America can be broken up rather distinctly into regions based on European ethnicity. Europeans love to claim we’re impure, without any knowledge of our family history. I myself have tested as more English than some Englishmen, which is backed up by genealogical documentation. But whatever floats your boat, keep pretending as if Europeans haven’t been marrying across national borders for centuries. Perhaps you should worry more about how Europeans are being replaced and can’t defend themselves. In America we can, and will.

There are historians who say that there is no evidence that all Khazars converted to Judaism but that it was only successful among the elite.
In Eastern Europe, Middle East, etc., what defines their ethnicity is their paternal inheritance, in the case of Jewish Rabbinist Jews, it is their maternal inheritance.
In short, even though some modern Hebrews have minority Hebrew blood in their veins, compared to Palestinians, they have ethnic identity, which is what counts in the definition and belonging of a particular people, and the same occurs with Copts who have less Egyptian blood itself , than the Muslim Egyptians , but they have the ethnic identity that others do not have .

What about Ashkenazim who have one parent who is not Jewish, such as Scarlet Johanson?
Or Ashkenazim which mixed more, and so they have blue eyes and light hair, which was somewhat common in Russia and parts of Eastern Europe.
With Scarlet, we may be looking at someone who has up to 90% European ancestry, and at least 75%. By phentotypes alone, she is more White than most Southern Europeans/Balkans.

I ask, because I know cultural leftist Whites who hate White/Europeans (and ones who do not, like us), and I also know those who were born with some Jewish ancestry who hate White/Europeans and also others than identify as White and think like us.
It just seems odd on whether someone majority-White genetically to be considered White based on their beliefs.

The reasoning seems a bit flawed there.
Are you saying that someone is full European, but expresses their disdain towards Whites is a White no matter what, but someone who is 90% White and 10% Jewish/Canaan/Semitic (or some other ethnicity) who expresses the same views is not White?
Being White couldn’t be both an ideology and genetics, could it? It seems odd to say that someone who is anti-White is only non-White if they are partly non-White, but someone who has a similar genetic makeup is White so long as their views are not anti-White.
I also disagree that Jews are a collective. Jews are no more a collective than Muslims or Whites or Nigerians are a collective. There are Jews all throughout the political spectrum.
I appreciate your website and will be sharing it. But something about this reasoning does not seem sound.
My views before coming here were that being White is a combination of phenotype and primarily European ancestry (which go hand in hand). So Generally, most people who are 75% European will be White (unless the 25% admixture is sub-Saharan or some other far-removed indigenous population).

on a genetic level yes, someone who is 90% european is ‘white’ if their 10% ancestry comes from the levant, but in a globalized world or a multi-racial country, race is not a mere genetic group but an ethnic category too. herodotus, who invented the concept of ethnicity, said that it requires common ancestry, language, and culture. mestizos are 75% white but they as a group constantly attack founding stock american culture, try to ethnically displace white americans, and speak a different language.
anyway, the overwhelmingly majority of jews aren’t 90% european, they’re 50% european. you’re picking random fringe exceptions to the rule and trying to dismantle established definitions, like a marxist college professor.
